Studio time confirmed

On May 21st BTG will begin recording new material. We are entering the studio as a trio this time due to Kristin being located in Oslo at the moment, but we might be joined by a few guest musicians. We are even toying with the idea of adding some vocals to the mix, so we'll see what happens. Expect a faster, more complex sound this time as the evolution of BTG continues...

THE FUTURE OF BTG + NEW SIDE PROJECT

We are cold here in the dark dephts of the Norwegian winter, but still alive and working on new material. This time around we are looking to take the music in a slightly different direction. What form this direction will take is yet uncertain... All we know so far is that it's nice to be back together after a few well-needed months off.

Also, in other news, there's a side project on the way, called Frequencies of the Cosmic Omni. Born out of an idea of Sindre Husebø's, this group will be something unique, and the music will feature elements such as drum machines and vocals (!).

Summer-gigs and PROTECT ALL LIFE

Our small "tour" in the Stavanger area is now behind us with 3 very successful gigs playing for a very thankful audience. It has been a very good way for us to warm up to our big concert-event at NUMUSIC festival in Stavanger. More info on this follows.

The 14th of August we did a concert at LiveAID Skippergata. A charity project arranged by one of our friends, Anita Høyvik, who is a special and warmhearted woman working at a hospital in New York caring for people infected by AIDS. At LiveAID we raised money for these patients in order to contribute a little to their quality of life. And the maxim carried out by Anita Høyvik - who we all should live by - is "PROTECT ALL LIFE".

The friday after, at the 21st of August, we headlined a gig at Tribute, Sandnes, and seemingly gave a concert for the audience worth to remember. Warming up for us this night was our friends in local Solid Squeel.

Last week, on the 28th of August, we played a very, very, very late, yet good, concert at Rush Nightclub in Stavanger.

All this has warmed us up well and we are extremely proud and ready to gig at NUMUSIC festival in Stavanger.

Take care, and remember to protect all life!

New material under the hot sun

We are extremely hot these days under this alive and burning sun while working on our new songs, but it is truly wonderful. The city has become a metropolis with tourists from all over the globe and they all seem happy. And our new ideas are in flux and it is generally a very good creative time for us.

While working on our new material we are also waiting to have some summer gigs confirmed, it will be like a good and long warmup for our head gig at NUMUSIC festival in September. Furthermore it is due to do some more studio work, hopefully within the next two months. More info on all this will follow.

Stay tuned and cool!
